Good news for those who have been eagerly waiting for it: the new Quinty by Summum collection is here! A capsule with a festive edge, to celebrate life’s small and big moments.
When can you call something a tradition? After five, 10, 30 times? Or is it also allowed by the third time? Because that's kind of how it feels, like a tradition – or at least a good habit – as we launch a special capsule collection for summer for the third time in collaboration with friend of the brand Quinty Trustfull. Maybe you had even been eagerly awaiting it, because the pieces from previous years are still favourites in your closet.
The photo shoot for the collection took place on the roof terrace of Hoogtij in the North (Noord) district, a home game for Amsterdam-based Quinty. 'A wonderful location, with that beautiful view over Amsterdam. The weather, the clothes and atmosphere: everything was perfect.' Quinty's daughter Moïse can also be seen on the photographs. 'We very consciously wanted to show that items can look very different depending on how you style them.
The new Quinty by Summum collection is more festive than previous years. The reason? 'You see that people really feel like having fun again and celebrating, because it’s possible now. So we wanted to offer a more extensive selection, with beautiful dresses and tops that you can wear every day but are also beautiful for a festival or summer wedding.' Does Quinty have a thing for summer weddings? 'Oh yes, who doesn't? Everyone loves a summer wedding party in the sun. Orlando and I got married in Curaçao. We go there regularly and have many friends who live there. It was a small, intimate wedding, very cosy.' If you have a summer party and are looking for something special, there is lots to choose from: 'Those tasty strip dresses with a leaf print and lurex, such sequin pants or a sweater with embroidery. And you can combine endlessly.'
