SUMMUM AWARE LABEL
Summum’s new AWARE label makes it easier to choose more sustainable fashion items. And that’s a good thing.
Our ambition to increase our positive impact is becoming ever more concrete. Consumers are also playing a major role in this. We introduced the SUMMUM Aware label in 2019. For clothing with this label, a sustainable alternative such as FillSens or Tencel is used for at least 50% of the fabric. We also offer an Organic Luxury Basics collection and the first sustainable denim jeans with the Aware label.
Our goal is to make the women who wear our clothes aware of more sustainable alternatives. We make it easy for them to choose more sustainable fashion items. The Aware label provides brief, clear information about the materials used. Where possible, the label refers to the websites of the relevant innovative fabric manufacturers or to organisations that award the strictly controlled sustainability certificates.
Our ambition is to expand the Aware collection over the coming years so that it becomes an increasingly larger part of our collection. We are aiming for at least 15% of items we sell to be Aware by 2020.
The Aware label feels better – for both yourself and the world
